Baby L

Well, I've always wanted to do a newborn photo shoot and I finally got my chance with baby L who was 11 days old for this shoot.  It was fun and a little harder than I expected to work with a newborn!  You definitely have to work around their schedule, but it was worth every minute!  Plus, I was able to get in a baby fix until I get to photograph another newborn :).  I can't wait to practice with newborns more!

He was so content when he had that pacifier in his mouth.  I love how mom is holding his feet and he's fast asleep in the background!

Mom really wanted to get a shot of their rings on his little toesies.  I loved creating it so the feet were black and white and their rings were in color.  This was one of mom's favorite shots.

This was at the end of the session when Baby L was finally done being the star!  Mom was loving on him and I couldn't resist snapping this picture.  She wasn't planning on being in any photos so hadn't done her hair or make-up.  11 days post baby (#4 at that!) and I think she looks amazing!

All snuggled up in the fleece blankie.  He was loving it!

I love the smile on his face in this shot.  Dreaming?  Passing gas?  We'll never know!

Love the peaceful sleeping face we have going on here.

The Two Brothers

I've been wanting to take some pictures using these stairs as a backdrop and I finally got around to it over this past weekend.  I used these super cute brothers as my models.  I love the stairs and think they add great dimension to these shots.

The next two pictures were not taken at the stairs, but I thought they were so cute anyway!
